Mission boards are not working

cant say ive had the issue any time today. have you tried relog? could be desync...

its not unusual it comes back.
You would be better going to the issue tracker and reporting it and then putting a link in your post for others to vote on . As the Forum is more likely to be visited by commanders than Fdev .
Every issue I have ever reported to the issue tracker has been ignored. One such issue has been a problem for over a year and it's still not being addressed. I have no faith in it.
To be honest, I have no faith this will work, either. In all likelihood, someone at Frontier will notice something amiss without ever having been told about it, and fix it on his own.

(imo) tracker is for more global issues that require testing and confirming from multiple sources.
for personal issues id contact support directly. they might have some trick up their sleeve that could help you, if not immediately then at least in the future...
also worth noting that with elite things sometimes happen... last weekend i wast able to log in for like 1,5 day for "no reason"...
To be truthful the issue tracker was "fixed" a few years ago so that it had to be reported 10 times before being voted on. Before anyone would look at it and with the voting it is more of a popularity contest. Then added the search function which is fairly poor so you can have multiple issues of the same issue with 9 reports each but seen as individual issues. ( It works well when looking from Fdev point of view ( less reports as everyone has given up on the tracker) so they have less to fix)
Add that to only 2 CM's and Paul is on the forums almost daily .
Sally did spoil us terribly .
Most news is on other media x or twitter or whatever it is .
The forums seem to be the forgotten or at least for old players and consoles.

Maybe go through support?
I mean, we're all here for you if you want a chat and you want to sit through 10 pages about pointless wittering about how in my day there was no specific mission server and we could change modes to change the missions, but that's about all we're good for unfortunately.
Personally I think someone accidentally sat on a reset button in the server cupboard during a sensory deprivation disciplinary session and it'll be back up and running when it boots up again.
Can’t communicate with a server sounds like a job for the very good support team.
The fact it says can’t communicate would suggest to me something between your system and that server not working not necessarily you or FDev.
But definitely doesn’t sound like something for the issue tracker for bugs.

I think we already know, but out of an abundance of respect for the OP, I won't say any more about that.
I'm far more interested in why the OP uses XML mods that affect everythuing else instead of using EDHM-UI.

I made the change over 1200 in game hours ago, I don't remember how I did it, and I don't know the difference between XML and EDHM-UI. I don't even know what they are.
But I mean... if you have a better suggestion, I'm all ears.
