Engineers Mission Boards can become impossible to complete

So with the new mechanic revolving around certain hauling missions your mission giver can reroute your final destination to another place for a bonus pay. THat all sounds fair and well until the place they give you is somewhere you can not land really...

I picked up one of these missions to deliver 132t of cargo to a planetary outpost. I use my Anaconda to make the delivery only now as soon as I am about to approach my destination my mission giver reroutes me to a different system only problem is that I have to go to an outpost.

Are you kidding me? Well logical thing to do is change my ship and have my cargo carry over to my new ship right? Well I don't have any other ship that could carry that much cargo. This is a nice update and all but there are still many flaws in it that need to be looked over.

Anyone else who have had similar problems?

Question (I haven't tried many missions in the beta): Is the new branch mandatory? Couldn'd you simply stick to your initial mission and deliver the cargo to the spaceport you can land on (but obviously without the bonus)?

Ithink this bug was seen in beta, so I guess you mayhave found another variant.

Please raise a bug report to help FDev nail this down.for eveyone, cheers!

Had a similar issue yesterday, but not related to outposts landing.

Mission to deliver X goods to a large station. Got re-routed to another large station. Went there, landed, but failed to deliver the goods because the faction who gave me the job was not present on the new system, so the Mission board had no entry for the target faction and hence no action item to deliver the cargo.

Not an overly big deal, but either the re-routing should check if the target faction is present on the new target, or the mission board should add the faction temporary so the "Deliver mission" item exists.

It was mandatory in the Beta as far as I'm aware. I did ask for a [Decline] option for this as there is no point in taking multiple missions to one system/station if half of them are then re-routing you to other systems. The extra reward isn't worth the bother of jumping all over the place and neither is the time sink particularly rewarding either.

One thing I forgot to do was to just ignore the re-route and carry on to the original destination to see if that would still work. I'll try that later.
