Newcomer / Intro 'Mission cricital message' - holy moley... more spam than RL!

I got the same Delivery Contract 'Mission Critical Message' multiple times in one session - jeez this Ortega guy is persistant!

I might actually do these at some stage if only for a bit of variety and having seen just how much power my python can cope with chomping through rocks, it could do with a mission refit for a bit of fun BUT...

Often I have to deliver to a specific person in some system - do they tend to be at the station, even though this is an 'off-mission-board' kinda deal?

I got three "Mission Criticals" two days ago whilst mining I usualy swear at them its almost as annoying as "Prospector Limpet failed" 100 times

I am tempted to try one of these missions but not if it means trawling signal sources for ever and a day... has anyone ever done them?

Don’t think I have ever had one. I get the anonymous tip off messages fairly regularly. The only mission critical ones I get are during missions, usually updates on delivery bonus or incoming hostiles.

Once or twice. In general, the mission shows up in a fairly obvious place near a starport and is blue (in default colouring) making it easy to identify.
It's just some schmuck yelling to no-one at all about his 'great deals' and then has you run a sourcing contract.

I haven’t seen a tip off in ages, but I get to ignore a lot of mission critical messages as spam after all if I am not doing missions how can I be getting a critical message about them. If I am bounty hunting I assume that it is some ploy by the faction whose ships I am eliminating to get me to go away.

Right that’s it.. it is always preceded with a message Incoming Mission Critical Message.. and when I arrive in Borann I get chirpingly told Mission Objective discovered... so that makes sense now. But don’t they know how long it takes for a Python to nom nom it’s way through rocks?
Prior to that as @F4fred says, it was usually bonus if delivered super quickly messages,

Ok I will stick to boards then ...
