i suggest a new fighting arena...
stations...
like in the trailers, it shows fighting around a station.
that never happens in the game!
but what if you could?
we'll talk about the how later, but just have stations that you can fight around.
vary the environment by using different types of station.
abandoned stations, meteor blasted ones , flawless ones, power on or off save a few lights, long stations with 1 two or 3 rings, the cube with the four battering ram arms (i hate that one, always trying to smack me like a skeeter).
you could utilize it in many ways.
you could have a few stars with a derelict station in the system.. so they are in the four corners of the bubble.
the station could be derelict for any number of reasons.
meteor shower blasted the station disabling it, disease, might even be sitting there with all the lights on.
or it could be a possible result from UA bombing, be in a civil war when it happens.
can you imagine trying to dock, with people fighting all around the station.
or pirates have taken over a station for a couple days.
fighting them around the station collecting pirate booty bounty.
all this could end up in missions where you have to stop someone from docking with a station, or pursuing someone form the station through interdicting, if he gets away.
or it could start with them.
"Chase the ship with the purple exhaust..."
but having a few stations you gotta go to getting certain materials for a quest even .. and it is one of these places...
"a derelict station hit by meteorites needs to have the derelict weapon system scanned for preventative reasons.. "
"gotta get inside and scan the thingmobobber .. or the doohicky in the surface. or scan these three whatchamacallkits .. for science... yea .. and dont get killed while doing it.."
go solo and still get harassed...
