Ok, this drives me absolutely crazy...
Please, remove the "different destination" from passenger missions. It is absolutely infuriating to try to fill a ship with passengers going to the same area, then after an hour of gathering passengers to deliver, they all randomly decide they want to go somewhere else.
Like, REALLY frontier?! How often do you buy a plane ticket, or a bus ticket from Dallas to New York, then half way there say, "Actually, take me to Seattle instead" and if you don't, I'm not paying you.
The whole concept is ludicrous. If the passenger offers a BONUS to be taken elsewhere, that's fine, but the original contract should not be contingent on the passenger's whim.
Beyond just passenger missions--This is a frustration I have with all sorts of missions. When I select a mission, I get a nice detailed sheet telling me what I'm signing up for. Great. Now stick to it. Don't tell me to collect x in system y, then when I get to system y, have a message that tells me ACTUALLLLYYYY, I need to travel to system z, to find out more about some other random thing that after jumping through an annoying series of hoops, will finally lead me to collecting x...
Just give us the respect of providing the mission information, and sticking to it. If you want to add variety, fine--do it in the form of "Bonus x if you do y" i.e "If you are interested in some additional credits, go to system x to find out more" Cool. But don't change the deal half way through.
Thanks....
