Mission generation?

I just cant work out how this works.

I have found no ryme or reason in any of it.

There is an agricultural system in boom with about 8 famine systems surrounding it and you would think the agricultural system would have lots of missions to deliver food to them... nope. It has .... agricultural liberation of hostage missions.. whatever the hell that means. Oh and mining missions.

There are 2 deliver grain missions... to a system thats colony extraction in boom... not famine? Say what!?

I started looking into this taday as in lft 37 there is quite a few missions to reddot. Agricultural supply runs of beer tobacco and wine. Im in good witht he factions so they pay me 1-4 mill for 100t cargo run. Now i love this but i cant work out why this is the case here.. i have spent all day jumping around the bubble looking at faction states and economys and i just cant work out what the rules are.

Some systems have loads of mining missions but are not extraction or refinery they are industrial?

Anarchy systems that want medicine, fedural democracy extraction systems in boom that want non leathal weapons and explosives?

It also seems that delivery missions are often priorities to outposts so i have been lokking for a system that doesn't have any only stations but they are few and far between and often local systems dont have missions going there.

IS THERE SOME ONE OUT THERE THAT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AND HAS MADE SENSE OF ALL THIS!

Those are all things that could be made so good, if not for the fact that most dev resources are used on coding for people to shoot things (or each other). I still live in hope though.

The mission boards used to change the types of missions generated, based on the state of the system. That seems to have gone out the window now. The mission generation system must be very complicated, because every time they make changes to it, it seems to just mess things up more than before. Where are all the extra missions we were supposed to get in the last update? They seem to have disappeared now, and the mission board is back to being very slow to load. There also is not much variety in the types of missions given. I like doing missions and I really wish they would fix this mess.

Please do not look for logic in the mission system or BGS....you will go mad.

None of it makes sense - extraction system at war, commodity prices all over the place. You'd think during war food and medicine would be in demand but no, prices through the floor. I get prices for stuff like the minerals and metals going up as production would slow down and supply would be affected but the prices for basic should go way up...less incoming goods as there is a war, lots of people displaced and injured hence need for medicine...nope.

It's a proper mess. The commodity market as well. Big industrial station - high pop, tonnes of machinery, all of it priced way above market avg? Why? No particular state pending, recovering or active.

I've given up trying to make sense of it and just get my profits where I can.....they need to start from scratch with missions and the BGS during beyond.
