Newcomer / Intro mission help

when you take a mission why isn't there an option to select plan route, some systmes can not be searched for some reasons and its a pain hunting for them.

Are you searching on the galaxy map? Which system is it?

Unless the mission is a track down X Pirate that can take you to multiple systems, or this station requires X od comodity Y, all the hauling missions are within 1 jump of where you are.

think the systems are called arathi BV-kj-2 or something like that, but it never seems to be able to find them.
