As you say; it's been lucky for our planet. The late heavy bombardment must have been fun..........

Evidently the red spot is shrinking and may disappear... sort of the opposite of the movie 2010.

True enough. SWRI are asking for folks to tune up the originals to add to their research, of which that red spot crop is an example.
