Mission objective discovered - but I have no missions

Also weird - again, is there something I am perhaps not understanding about this? Get "mission objective discovered" - see a blue USS labelled "Trading beacon" but I have no missions that even vaguely relate to that. I haven't taken trade missions in forever. I assume a bug but just thought I'd ask - is there a relevancy that I am missing?

It's not a bug. That's a special trading USS. If you go to it, a roaming trader will give you a mission to deliver or fetch something.

Oh I see. That actually makes sense. Thanks Morbad. Isn't it a shame though, that the first thing we think of is that it is likely a bug. This is the consequence I suppose of the fact that generally speaking, it usually is a bug, due to the horrendous number that exist.
