Mission requirements not met... destination?

Some missions show as requirements not met.
Where it shows the reason eg ship too large etc it says destination.
I am allied with the factions.
Is it bug?

If it's destination it could mean you need a permit to enter that system. Or it could be a bug if it's a source missions. I've had a bug with source mission, wouldn't update that I actually had the cargo in my hold.

I still don't think that's right, as I can source indium from many systems and stations

I believe that's how FDev has temporarily nerfed the bugged source type missions that are offering rediculously large credit rewards for rediculously small quantities. I expect they'll eventually fix them properly so they don't get generated at all.

At least that's what I'm seeing on my end.

I've noticed this as well, it's not ship size or permit.
All I can say so far is they are wing missions.
Looks very much like a bug to me.

This happens with Wing missions that are fetch / return. I am in Ceos, where there are three big Starports... and the mission destination is the Starport I am docked at with my Anaconda. Seems to be a bug that got introduced when they patched the very large payout fetch / return (50 mil to get 61t of Palladium, as an example).

This is due to usual incompetence when a new update is released. The game has little content. And the missions seem always affected. In a year they fix it.

Looks like a bug or a dodgy nerfing.

I've tried Large and small pad ships with/without cargo cap and the mission is still locked.

It's a source wing mission so no issues re permit locking.

I've had this when flying a Medium ship (Python or Krait) so it's not ship size.
I've seen it when there's only 65t of cargo space required, on a ship with 180t to spare, so it's not capacity.
I've seen it where the destination is the very station I'm parked at, so it's not a permit issue.

It's a bit tantalising ain't it? 30-50m for a job you can do in couple of runs? If I could just reach it .........

I imagine when they start working the fee will have dropped to something more reasonable

I did pick up one for 19m that did work which was nice, still good money picking up the lower paying stuff and filling up a T9 so Im not overly bothered..

Looks like the same type of temporary "fix" FDev used when certain Passenger Missions were deemed to be over paying. I fell foul of this a LOT. I'd see a tasty passenger mission with a decent payout (50m +) but it'd be to a very distant station, we're talking over an hour in SC, and I'd invariably be attacked multiple times for this type of mission. I'd accept, complete and enjoy missions paying out 30 million or so, but trying to accept one for 50m or more would break the missions boards, often requiring me to log out of the game to fix.

It does seem odd to me that FDev can't simply stop a mission from appearing at all, rather than putting a fake reason on it and confusing people.

I've not encountered any of these missions myself - all my payouts, even with having excellect faction standings - have been low, and simply not worth my time. I understand why people feel tempted to board flip at times as I'm arriving in systems, docking and finding literally nothing worth my time...perhaps I just had poor RNG luck though.

Scoob.

Ding ding ding! Is the right answer.

I will never fail to be amused by the way that anything allowing high credit incomes gets jumped on within a couple of hours, compared to the slightly longer cycle that seems to apply to anything else.
