Mission Reward Split in Wing???

Hello,

I have been doing missions with my wing and it doesn't seem to split the reward with the other players in the wing. Is there something special that needs to be done in order for the mission completion rewards to be split at turn in?

For other people in your Wing to get the reward split, they actually have to shoot at the enemy NPC. If they don't get any shots on it, they will not get any reward.

Personally, I think that is a dumb implementation. I think everyone in the Wing, be it they shot at the NPC or not, should get the reward split.

That is true for bounties, but to complete, let say, an assassination mission for 150k and you turn it in to claim the reward. It does not spilt with the wing, even though every wingman shot the target.

Mission rewards aren't split. If you're all in the same station, however, you can all pick up the same mission from the bulletin board and each get the full reward upon completion. For delivery missions, each person has to make the delivery individually, so there's not much point in doing those in wings. For combat missions such as pirate hunting and assassination, progress is shared among each wing member who got a hit on the target.

I'm not so sure that's true. My buddies and I have tried this, and only the wing-member who spotted the signal source that we dropped into received the mission reward. We all, however, received a bounty share (where relevant - some targets were not wanted). Upon completion of the mission, if another wing-member dropped us into a signal source, he'd be the one to get the reward.

I'd be interested if others share this experience. Will try to test again tonight however.

You misread what they said. If your all in the station you can all sign up for the mission and do your own mission in same USS then all claim your own reward.

No, I didn't misread, and, with respect, my experience of the scenario you describe differs. Whilst searching for the USS with a wing (each member having chosen the same assassination mission), only the wing member who spotted the USS got the mission completion notification, and the reward, when the target was killed.

Of course, like most things Wings-related, it may have been a bug. In any case, it's still fun.

This would lead to afk money making, 4 guys in a RES 3 park around an asteroid and 1 kills the ships........

I do these missions in a wing pretty regularly. If it's a "kill x pirates" mission for example, if you all have the same mission and kill 3 pirates in a uss, then as long as everybody got a hit in on each pirate each player will get 3 pirates counted toward their mission goal. Same with assassination missions. Even if only one player in the wing gets the update to find the target, as long as everyone is present and gets a hit in everyone completes the mission when the target is killed, provided no one gets their mission bugged by getting the alternate reward update before the location update. Also, with the "kill x pirates" missions, if one of the wing members gets an update for that mission after having killed pirates already, his kill count will be reset and he'll basically have to start over while everyone else's kills still count.

I'm only referring to the 'big' assassination missions (dropship/clipper/anaconda). Will test over the weekend to see if my previous experiences are repeatable and will ticket if necessary.

And the least said about the alternate pirate mission resets the better! So frustrating - even just playing alone!
