I'm in Colonia. I flew out pre-Asendency to unlock the engineers, with the intention of flying back to the bubble and enjoying the new content. I was a little behind schedule.
As some may know, there is a bug on settlement loot/data in systems without powers since the update. As such I have been unable to finish farming Faction Associates and Cocktail Recipies so that I can unlock the last 2 on-foot engineers.
In the last week, I have had to rely on mission rewards to farm materials. I have farmed enough to upgrade 6 suits and 7 weapons, and the materials needed to craft 4 modules for each of them. The only mission rewards I have not seen are for Faction Associates and Cocktail Recipies - the only 2 I actually need. So, my questions are:
A) Are these available as mission rewards? If not, why not? Given all other mats seem to be.
B) If they are available as rewards, am I just being unlucky? Do I need to be in a specific economy or station type?
Any help appreciated.
PS. Yes, I know they can be bought from carriers. There appear none available to buy according to Inara, and those I have visited.
