Mission rewards NOT being paid

I completed two missions - one yesterday and one today. The missions showed up as completed, but on selecting the reward the credits were not added to my credit total.
Nice to know if other CMDRS have encountered this issue or just me.

I have submitted a bug report in the issue tracker. If you have recently encountered the same issue, then will help FD if you confirm this. Just go to the issue tracker and confirm - here's the link https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/2639. :)

UPDATE: Just completed 6 cargo missions in an row, not a glitch to be found. So who knows, maybe imagined the whole thing. Anyway, not worth spending too much time on :)

So no credits at all or just not the proper amount? If the 2nd, do you have hired crewmates soaking up a percentage?

No worries, she'll be right mate. (I was in Adelaide for the Fringe festival this year... nice city).

Thanks Scmack, on behalf of Adelaide - your welcome :) Re credits, no crewmates. Just handed in the missions and nothing.

Metatherugist, haven't chased the credits. Wouldn't say no though - it was 9 million and I just spent nearly 500 million Cr buying and A rating a second Conda, so now only have two rebuys on the tick - and I do tend to do silly things with my ships :)

Greetings,

Per Schmack most Forum posts about this are hiring expensive fighter pilots which take a percentage of your profits whether active or not. Other issues may deal with not totally completing a mission such as getting scanned when passengers don't want to be or stacking smuggling runs. In these cases a player knows why.

Still when ED was in new say v1.3 in June 2015 zero credits after completing a mission has been an issue in the past. It has been years since I've seen a post about it but maybe I missed a few recent ones. Given ED it is probably wise that you submitted a ticket. The great support staff will typically get you paid while the programmers may or not figure it out. Not for a lack of trying. :)

Regards

UPDATE: Two rebuys left purchasing a second 'Conda ? You like to live on the edge...A player might forfeit the current ship but can always select an earlier one they own. Perhaps doing boring sightseeing missions in a dedicated passenger Python at Robigo Mines making credits would allow more risky options.

Hi Hooplah. No, got to the mission complete screen and even selected the reward, so certain the missions were complete. Support is good and would probably give me the credits (maybe) which is nice, but was more interested to get to the bottom of things. I have put the issue on the tracker - see OP.

Yes, push it a bit. Normally keep half a dozen rebuys up my sleeve. Had an engineered Type 10 Defender for hauling cargo, but too slow and still kept coming out second best when NPC 'Condas jumped me on elite missions (even when system authorities arrived). Sometimes 3 in a row. Not a hi-wake sort of guy, so make the mistake of hanging around 'til someone says uncle or dies :)

When the Type-10 came out many liked it for mining with several long threads about it. I always scraped the whale tail trying to land it manually at an orbiting station. I went up the trading ranks with a Type-6/7/9 before the engineers showed up. Now with experience I use a 704 cargo trading/combat Cutter build which no interdicting Anaconda and friends can take out completing trading missions. Swap in some other toys such as a class 8 engineered shield and reinforcements and no PvE ship in a HazRez, CG or CNBs can put a dent in the thing. Note that I never tried it against Thargoids. But it took credits (fairly easy to get) and engineering (not so easy) to dial it in. Never going serious PvP I'd probably get wasted in 30 seconds but thanks to Frontier can evade in 15. Still I miss my Type-9 in earlier versions of ED and loved the tactical ice paint job. I named it the Exxon Valdez and the ship ID was their radio call sign. Interesting that the Type-9 never got a ship kit but the Type-10 did.

But I am getting off your subject. Sorry for going down memory lane.

I find sometimes the credit counter caches... but then again i don't really pay attention to how many credits I get anyway since my crew ensure i never get any value i can read.

One situation I sometimes see this with is Donation missions... sometimes I complete them, but my credits don't drop, nor does my rep increase, until I do some other action which would trigger this, or restart the game.

It's a good subject though. When I started the 2nd account while my 1st was in Colonia, I went through the T6. I had never flown it with my 1st account because I was all about bounty hunting and it wasn't cool looking to drive the Space Ice Cream truck. It became my favorite ship though, and when I moved past it to enable greater earning ability, I missed it.

Had a Type 10 two or three times. It takes too long to come to a stop, and so it makes doing anything that requires moving around tedious. Well suited for cargo if you don't have to ever turn in Supercruise.
