mission sheets

...find myself filling in a notepad like this every time i do a bunch of missions (this is about 3 hours worth today)

be great if there was some quick summary-mode way in-game to view your current missions, without scrolling through your transactions list, and having to open each one to see what/how much/ to where/by when/for who

You can see your mission list through your left side panel > transactions tab. Click on them and will show you what you need to acquire etc.

Mind you, it would be good to have this summarised in a bit of a 'shopping list' similar to your notes so you can quickly see what you need and what you need to do.

yep, that's exactly my point. (edited to explain better!)

I expect if FD don't add it to the game someone will end up making an app though. hopefully.

Nope, I do it the same way as you do, its the PAP method, pen and paper. Use the same method for all trading and noting down who sells anything intersting in the outiftters.

Isnt therea lot of bugs in missions in general ?

nah. most missions are fine (aside from all being short-distance, low numbers, and repetitive - MORE MISSION VARIETY NEEDED FDEVS!) - except hunting X ships missions - if you get an update from a USS it resets your kill count.

it's more just about having a shopping list so i know what to buy from each station - navigating through your mission list is really badly layed out - you have to click into each one individually to see what to buy, how much, who for, where it's going, and by when.

so generally e have a few placeholders and trade missions with some USS gathering of illegal items, shooting some ships. Wel it does break up my explorations im cruisign around gathering exploration data and theres lots of places to poke my head into

this lot is from a handy combo of systems: 2 different hi-techs, one extraction, one refinery, one agricultural. covers pretty much every commodity.
all within a single jump of each other, all with stations fairly close into the stars.
very good training ground for someone wanting to repair their Fed reputation (3 of the systems are fed aligned)
pretty safe, very quiet.

I use Pen and Paper but, I laminated a sheet of lined A4 paper and use a water soluble pen - easy to jot things down and when finished just wipe clean:)

Ive integrated my tablet into the little cockpit console ive built for E: D... Was just an idea, now i dont want to miss it. I use it to organize informations, just like in the OP.

I do exactly the same OP
I just down what, where, when, how much etc in a notebook, makes life far easier and actually makes me enjoy the game more.
