Mission System Confusion - rep/allegiance etc.

I am Neutral with Faction A, at a station owned by Faction A.

1 In the station home menu it says Station A is Federation, underneath which is the Faction A name.

2 In the system map, it says the overall system allegiance is Federation.

3 In the system amp, it says the station allegiance is Alliance.

First confusion:
Since I am docked at this station, shouldn't (1) agree with (3)?

Second confusion:
On my Status Reputation tab:

Faction B has 58% control in the system. I am HOSTILE to it. It is a Federation faction. I am HOSTILE with Federation.
Faction A has 11% control. I am NEUTRAL to it. It is an Alliance faction. I am NEUTRAL with Alliance.

So Faction A controls the station I am at, I am neutral to it (and it's parent, the Alliance), yet all I see are missions being offered by Faction B. This makes no sense that I can see. I am hostile to B and I am not at one of their stations. Surely I should see more missions from Faction A?

I have seen these problems in multiple systems/stations. Example used:

System = 78 Ursae Majoris
Station A = Rominger Dock
Faction A = Alioth Independents
Faction B = 78 Ursae Majoris for Equality

Not necessarily. While the overall system influence "numbers" are in favor of federation, current station is influenced by corporation, which is part of the Alliance. Therefore, at station home menu you see yourself in Federation space, which is true, as they have the most influence in the system.

Perhaps. But current mechanics favor missions from entity, which has the most influence in the system.
