Mission Target NPCs killing each other.

The pirates at 44 chi draconis i supposed to assasinate sometimes attacks to other if he interdict me first and when another target follows the low wake-
Second NPC arrives in the middle of battle and helps me, He attacks me after the first one destroyed. is this intentional or a bug ? it also happens when i drop at a wing massacre target location. Belive it or not that vulture just saved my hide.
It's hilarious tho

It's intentional. One will be a mission target, the other usually a random pirate, and as you observed, the two NPC's will usually go at each other (the mission target will still try to shoot you), and when the mission target is destroyed then the second pirate will start to attack you. Very occasionaly, the second pirate will drop in and attack you immediately, but that is unusual.

Doesn't happen all the time, it's random, you can tell if it will happen because you will get two comms notifications from the different pirates that they are both after you. And in the event you are in a system with security then at some point they will also drop in and help you kill one or both of the pirates.
