Mission Terminal Access

Hi
Two problems maybe someone can help with :)

OK, I can access the terminals using the [E] key, and moving the mouse highlights the various options IE MISSIONS, HOLO ME, LOADOUT, etc, etc but how the hell do I actually select one of the options?
I have tried every key on the keyboard, This was not a problem on day one of the Alpha release, but I have now just returned for the 3rd update and cannot access the info which was a real pain when at a planet station and wanted to use their terminal to get the factory layout.

Also, I got shot there and now back at the main station, I have no ship to access any ideas how I get it back.

The system map says I have both the Sidy and the Cobra here but I have no ship to access when I go to the elevators.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually Factabulous, I solved my problem it was easy, I Switched to playing X4 Foundations Cradle of Humanity.

Yeah, I know.
I've been playing ED since 1984 and I'm really sorry to see how far the community has slipped. Once upon a time, we used to help each other without all the smart-ass comments. Just a sign of the times I guess. Oh, I play SC as well and the community there on a whole is extremely helpful.

Thanks, mate nice to see someone is still able to offer some assistance.
I'm using a HOTAS setup. I've tried the spacebar & enter plus all the keys actually but not had any joy. So I've obviously not got it bound somehow. Not really sure what the option for it is under in the KEY BIND MENU so that doesn't help either.
