Mission Text Issues

Hey Guys! I can't say that I'm a new player because I can't get passed the first training mission. (Just bought the game) I can't read anything on the ground HUD at the top because it's just too small. All the mission text seems to be the right size but it's too blurry to read. (also.... way over anti-aliased)

About me: I'm 43/22 Microsoft/retired. I say this so you know I've tryed all the settings already. And can understand you if you respond.
As of three weeks ago, I have the most powerful pc you can get with the largest NVIDA you can buy. (yes it cost way more than my putter)
I do, however, have my system set up as pure G-SYNC only. Therefore I have no idea if there are any ED issues with that.

Can anyone help? Am I forgetting something simple? Please help if you can. I really wanna get started.

Thank you in advance,
~MuFu

You mean the stuff like:

a pic might hep. Maybe the Upscaling / Super-sampling? I've seen them make things look bad 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for responding. I'll be back in a little while. I'm gonna start again an get a screen cap. Anyone know the screencap location for ED?

If you're on Steam, F12 save screenies to game folder\screenshots in jpeg format.

Elite's F10/Alt+F10 saves as BMP format, which I believe are larger.

The only issue I still have is how tiny the top middle display and the NPC text is. At least when compaired to ED vids on Youtube.

Nope. Not yet any way. You? They say it's great in this game.
What resolution are you running at?

Also, so I hear/read, VR is nice in space, but projected flat screen on foot. Was wondering if that was the issue with your HUD being small.

Beware (be aware) of "issues". EDO has been a long road of updates since launch in may. Still at least 2 more updates coming this year and most likely more next year.

Settings that work well in space with awesome frame rates can be ground to a halt in some settlements. I play at 1440p with RTX 2060 and have to change graphics settings to maintain playability depending on where I am.

Regardless of the many issues, this game is awesome. Enjoy.
