Mission trading beacons are infuriating

Why do they have to show up as mission related USS?

I'm trying to find an assassination mission target. I've been at the right planet for 45 minutes. But all I get is damn trading beacons. But the most infuriating thing is that to start with, they look exactly like the mission USS that I'm looking for.

I'm about to log off for the night and fail the mission. I'll also lose the bonuses for the 4 mission Anacondas I've killed.

One more trading beacon while I type this. That's over 12 so far. Two at one some times. Oh look another.

Well done FD, not!!!

This was brought up weeks ago and yes they are extremely annoying and always on assassination missions...its not the odd random, its literally spammed at ye constantly ^

Ohhh, these frackers... "Oh, good, you are in a combat ship! I am sure you are here to go and sell 9 tonnes of tracken tea somehere! I am waiting here in my cracken T9 in the middle of nowhere for you specifically!!111"

Like holy rear, seriosly, what the hell?

As if the whole mechanic around waiting for a USS to eventually turn up isn't bad enough.

That's over 20 of the damn things now. You are quite right about spamming. If the actual mission USS turned up as regular as these, it wouldn't be so bad. Over an hour now. That's the last assassination mission I do until this is fixed. Pity, that's some gameplay I enjoy.

Just logged out. So that's one failed mission. That fail is on you FD. Total fail.

What?

You're saying these things show up blue along with the announcement "Mission Objective Detected" and it's not the mission objective? I'm a bit confused about what exactly is occurring...

(for reference, I've been taking assassinations six at a time and have no problems finding the target... although 9 times out of 10 they aren't at a USS, and instead they're in supercruise)

Funny thing being they show up even though I dont have a cargo rack fitted...and they dont drop any shiny when ye kill them...I tried several times outta sheer frustration to try and make them stop. They just seem to reincarnate in that way npc do and start spamming again...its beyond annoying at times because theres no way to make them stop when even violence doesnt work.

Ive failed a few missions now because of it when the actual mission marker Im looking fer just doesnt show up at all, just constant freight opportunities from some zombie that just doesnt seem to know the meaning of the word ¨no¨

Wow that sucks; some serious bad RNG rolls there.

I thought they must be super rare because I've played over 1,000 hours and I've only seen two trading beacons that entire time.

Yep. While circling around the target planet, all I was getting was blue "Mission Objective Detected", but on a scan they showed that they were "Trading beacons".

First couple, I dropped into automatically, without reading, assuming they were the assassination mission objective. Lucky for me that the first thing that I did was fire a fuel limpet at the first ship to appear.

That mission took over an hour. The first half of that was waiting for the 4 bonus Anacondas to turn up, since I didn't want to take on a Corvette at the same time as an Anaconda. Plus, the bonus was going to be the bulk of my payment, as I'm taking the 75% pay cut along with the Inf+++++. After the first dozen trade beacons, I tried cruising the system looking for the target to interdict. No luck. All that turned out to be a complete waste of time.

I was very tempted to blow up the Type-9s. Maybe next time I'm on a murder spree, I'll try and reproduce it.

I have only seen a few of these trading beacons, certainly in the single figures. Suddenly I'm seeing over twenty.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news m8 but fer me personally, 20 is merely average. Used to run a lot more missions, now just the odd one here and there...wing missions are fun and challenging which is about the mission boards only saving grace atm. Everything else is either rubbish coin, bugged, gives ye bounties or just missions that are plain tedious.

Weirdly enough, I dont need to flip the boards at all with wing missions...always plenty of those to choose from. But with everything else, Im fining meself ffipping them more now than before to achieve the same result. Working as intended ye think? Would it surprise ye if the answer was yes?

Btw, killing the T9s has zero effect...not even sure if it counts towards notoriety, but they drop absolutely nothing in loot. And they wont die, just reincarnate 2 minutes later sometimes even with the exact same name as the one they had the last 5 times they died.

Which is why I was doing an assassination, as the night before I ran into the bug with massacre pirate missions not spawning mission targets - and some of he ones that did, were no longer targets on following their low-wake.

Starting to run out of fun things to do. Looks like I'll be joining the rest of the forum with relog spamming just to find a few decent missions.

Funny, just as ye mention them, someone went and started another thread about massacre missions...same issue and ye they as broke as broke gets which is sorta sad when ye think about it.

Think fer a minute that if its a cash exploit bug, frontier are all over it pronto...but when its stuff like massacre missions that just waste everyones time, or the many other bugged missions...well lets just say they dont appear to be in the same hurry they are with cash nerfs or fixes or whatever.

Makes me sad thinking about things like that...Id rather not but Im hardly struggling fer ammunition here. Running outta fun stuff to do...sadly enough I can relate to that ^

I think at this point anyone would experience far less frustration and disappointment if they were to log into gta online, in a non solo lobby and make repetitive inflammatory comments on
the global communications medium and try and make a few deliveries...we know how well that would go
