Mission trouble - Destroy Warzone

Hey guys just wondering what the deal is with this mission. Its the first time I've had this one after becoming friendly to Alliance. Im well aware you need to join a side in conflict zone and kill a number of targets but there seems to be one HUGE issue.

The mission tells me to head to HDS 1879 or something like that and go to the warzone and kill enemies. I went to that system twice and not once could I find any of the usual Conflict zone. I've even tried USS and Weak signals and even the nav beacon but nothing.

Is this a stupid bug or is it like the "kill traders" mission where you can fly around for literally real time days and not find your objectives... ?

I wouldnt mind but I'm annoyed at the amount of mission I have to fail because I don't have marathon 24 hr sessions to complete them and have to log off but the mission timers still carry on and expire.....

When it is a mission to kill warzone ships that is only conflict zones. It may be possible that you did not get to the right part of the system to see the conflict zones (may have been near a farther planet)

thank you. Ive only seen them near the system entry point so didnt bother checking further out in the system. its a big ine too so it will take a while. thx again

I recently had to travel 300,000ls to get to a low intensity conflict zone. Plenty of time to make a cup of coffee, have a cigarette.

If you do not have the system layout, take a scanner, might as well make a few thousand finding the conflict zone.
