General Mission types suggestions for wings and solo

Hello. I've played Elite for quite some time and there are a lot of thing that dfntly needed to be improved and expanded, such as misson variety. So, I have a few ideas (ofc some of them probably had been on these forums already but still). Right now playing with friends is rather boring in terms of gameplay - there are not enough activities packed with action wich are fun to play together. So I have some suggestions that can be viable for both solo and wing\multicrew.

1. Race
One of the most interesting parts of the game is simply piloting your ship and maneuvering. Feeling it speed, weight and inertia. So why can't it be made into separate mission type? I've seen races that made players and devs, but that was only an events and not a mechanic availiable for all players. The game already has some markers from tutorial stage that can be used to mark tracks. In space, in asteroid belts, or even close to planet surfaces. They also can be devided into defferent "weight" classes depending on ship size or maybe even few types for SRV.
As in reality races can have different types: ring ones, survival (where guns can be used), rally-like long tracks with timer and so on. More than that it can be allowed to run it as wing to let people to compete with each other. Leaderbords and community goals can follow.

2. Implementing CQC as a mission type.
I've played CQC only a few times and it was fan except for one thing - waiting for players for few eternities. It's not convinient to start it from main menu, and it is too separated from the rest of the game. So why don't implement CQC as a mission type? Making it into mission wich can reward you with faction reputation and materials or goods as all other missions sound viable for me. It also can be devided it into 2 types - Player VS AI and Player VS player depending on the station - it can help, for example, to make some locations more "social", making PvP CQC stations as a point of attraction. Also ability to take mission and start CQC search during some other activities such as long exploration or trade-runs also can be nice. And ofc leaderbords and so on.

3. Defence missions.
For quite some time a had an idea that there can be a lot of different missions made aroun of idea of defending some stucture, ship or other type of entity. For example it can be damaged ship that you should defend from waves of pirates, it can be settlment generator that you soulf defend from the SRV's or it even can be some guardain structure that you sould defend from targoid swarm. It can be challanging, it can be fun or frustrating, but iit will add variety expecially if it played in wing or multicrew. For examplewing mission can be made such way that you need manualy repair some entity using drones, open hatch with the help of SRV and so on. Different roles for players during the mission even on one ship with multicrew.
