Horizons Mission Updating not available

I have tried 6 times to use the Missions tab, solo and open.
Just wont work.
I can play the game quickly, no problems. It is just the mission server won't work.

I'm in Australia. Anybody got this problem?

You guys down there have it hard with the Amazon servers quite often, I noticed.

I haven't had any difficulties, tonight. Sorry. Could be anything.

May have been caused by any of the following.
Son was downloading the new ME game. (Since stopped)
I set up my external backup drive. (since unplugged it)
Or most likely, Our NBN service.
Or even the supposedly great NBN service.
Or our new superfast NBN service.
Or the new superfast NBN service that is much slower (a lot of the time) than ADSL2 service.

PS: Our NBN service was a political thing, and when have political things worked as touted?

Well, to be fair, networking is a complex thing and if you aren't sure on whose side the fault is, it's usually both.

(btw. WOOT! Andromeda is awesome. I finished my 10 hours of early access in what felt like two hours. I'm loving it. Though atm I am a little peevish about having to wait till next week to continue the story!)

Which system are you in? There are systems with known issues with missions not updating.

Nambikuara
I'm pretty sure it was a bandwidth issue. After we used less bandwidth I played till now, nearly 7.30 pm and the issue just started again.

Just checked. My son is downloading again. (I share his I/N connection.)

I would suggest moving to another system, preferably one that is in a Boom state (Nambikuara's state is currently "None"). When system states are "None", you can find it hard to get any missions. Unless you have some particular fondness to Nambikuara, I say move on; it's a big galaxy.

I am friendly or allied to nearly everyone in and close to Nambikuara. I make big money there trading when things are fine.
I made 11 mil with trading and missions yesterday.
My problem was the mission panel would not open. As in "Can't connect to server"

edit: Just brought home 6,500,000 in one round trip for Nambikuara and surrounds.
The only bad point was 40 minutes to get from the star to 320,000 LS in one system. (Even a million cr aint worth it)

edit no.2: Can't complain. Got 13.6 mil cr for the day. Such hard work. gonna bed.
