Missionboard crashes

Yeah, I said it before, it's amazing what gamedevs get away with compared to other commercial software markets.
It's also amazing how many game players take this for granted by the way.
I see this on the train sim forums all the time. Company brings out a poor quality product or botched update while ignoring valid bugs/concerns and the fanbois close ranks against anyone who dares to question the situation. "But, but, if we criticise them, might go out of business, then we'll have no game at all..." seems to be the usual justification.

Well newsflash, there are other games or for that matter other things to do. I'll be driving my Big Mack north to Hammerfest in ETS2/ProMods until the BBS is sorted out. (Which presumably means the intern who created the error dragging the chief coder/compiler back from Wetherspoons...).

I keep warning you. Bugs and Arx shops, kid. That's where they get you.

So I've been playing the game yesterday and this morning despite the mission board jumbling itself around, and I've still managed to do all the passenger missions I wanted to do. So I'm about ready to say this bug isn't really game-breaking. Sure it's really irritating to have to un-freeze the display using the engineers screen, and only being able to take one or two missions at a time before the UI disintegrates like a digital Thanos had his way with it, but I've still managed to do what I wanted to do without too much inconvenience.

Don't get me wrong, it needs looking at as a top priority, and needs fixing yesterday, but I'm not going to go full-on melodrama and say it's making the game unplayable.

I'm probably being cynical but I expect we'll have to endure this broken mission board bug all fkin weekend now, I don't remember FDev ever pushing out bug fixes Friday afternoon and never at weekends. It really is quite disappointing.

I'm in game currently, just got a message that the servers will restart to apply a fix for the problem at 3pm BST

Well thats good I suppose, I stand corrected. But i'll withhold my praise until we know this bug fix doesn't introduce a new game breaking bug.

No...it is broken on the PC also......if you are quick enough you can select what you want, but is frustrating when it locks....just have to exit out to main menu and reload.

Is it still broken? I thought they had put some sticking tape over it which entailed at least one mission in the stack being outrageously implausible?
