Missions and Influence...Journal file does not match

Hey fellow BGS'ers.

I submitted a bug report for the fact that the journal file outputs "none, low, med, or high" for inf on missions, instead of "+, ++, etc".

I asked in the bug report that they either tell us which equates to which, or change the journal file so it spits out what the missions say (+, ++, etc).

If you think this is important enough to comment on, please do so in the bug report forum so they see more than just me cares.

Several feature requests were written by other men too. It's now not a bug, but strange feature. My BGS parser is not working correctly due to this However, lowest influence w\o new +++++\++++ missions is calculated. Was thinking, are such missions really adding 4-5 inflience points - no proof w\o log data...

By definition, it's a bug.

You are right in that they should update the journal rep/inf upon mission completion, since that is what matters. It's hard to believe they didn't make it that way from the start (when mission completion choices were added). But since it's in the journal output, which is at best low priority with FD, it may be way low on the fix list.

I guess we're stuck until they fix it.
