missions...how to

Hi , not sure what is needed for each mission..

please correct me if I am wrong

'Of the record worker required' -- assignation mission . So just fly to system enter USS until you find target?

'Take on authority' - I don't get this..kill authority ships wont that kill my ranking ?

Is there any guides as to how to carry out each type of mission?

For assassinations missions, targets will either be in USS or in SC, you'll have to interdict them. Mission, especially combat ones, can easily effect your ranking, it's up to you to decide whether you think it's worth the hit. For example I don't really care about some independents in my home system so if I get a mission to take them out, I do.

I'm not aware of any existing guide, but I've never searched for one ...

Basically every kill or assassination mission requires you to fly around in supercruise, drop in USS, until you find the ship(s) flagged as 'Mission Target'. Kill those, claim the reward.

A lot of missions ask you to kill clean targets. Those missions have a 'High' reputation reward, compensating and offsetting any reputation hit you might suffer when you kill the target.
However, if you wish to maintain the best reputation possible, you should only accept missions to kill wanted targets : pirates, pirate lords, cult leaders, escaped prisonners.
