Engineers Missions not working

ive spent the better part of 2 hours trying to find a rebel transmission to get some item rewards for the engineers and after eventually finding them the mission doesnt regester that ive finished it so i cant hand it in, seriously guys the 2 hours to find one was bad enough but come on not letting me acually hand in the mission after it feels like a kick in the balls the worst thing here is theres nothing you can do so am either going to have to head out for another 2 hours looking for them in the same system and hope that the same thing dosent happen again or just stop playing your broken game, am very tempted by the second option atm.

Are you sure you have the specific rebel transmissions cargo you were meant to find? You need to scan a nav beacon or use an advanced scanner to pinpoint the specific planet around which you should find a mission signal source, highlighted in blue. If you did all that, make sure you have enough cargo space to hold the mission reward (if you were offered any commodities).
