Horizons Missions Question?.

I have been doing a lot of cargo/data delivery missions the last two or three days and often during the flight I will get an "urgent mission update" message on the comms channel usually stating that the reward has risen if I deliver quicker. When I open the message the only options available are back and delete, there is no way to tell whether I have acknowledged the message other than that. So sometimes I wonder if I have missed out on the bonus because of that. What is the correct procedure or is it just as it appears?.

You don't need to do anything. If you deliver before the new deadline (which can sometimes be 00h 00m -- don't ask...) you get a bonus, if not you get a message saying you were late but still get to complete the mission for the original payment.

It's not obvious that you got the bonus -- the payment is higher, but there's no specific message...

An entirely pointless feature that is far more irritating than beneficial. Like anyone doing missions isn't already doing them as fast as they can. Yet, you feel nearly compelled to look at the stupid message knowing full well what it is going to say. Great, what we need is a way to filter the comm traffic, a feature worth having.

The more annoying "updated missions" are the ones that change the destination of the mission, I usually don't accept any missions now that say "well explain more when you reach your destination" as I'm usually at sothis/ceos and the new destination is 400+ ly away
