missions shuttling cargo to and from the planets

I think a glowing omission in the game is: There are people living on the planets right? farmers on the ag planets, miners at the extraction sites, ect, so how does their supplies get to them? I think the dev's should set up missions shuttling supplies to and from the planets. these missions could be open to interdiction, and, make the trade routes between stations not open to interdiction. the shuttle missions would pay more because they are more dangerous. Traders could accept these missions knowing the danger. Pirates could intercept and attack these traders to get the cargo or disrupt a system's economy. planet leaders could hire mercenaries to protect the shipments. Shooters get their dog fighting, mercs get their action, traders can load their ship with gun's to defend, and they stand to make more credits per mission (if they make it through), explorers, traders and miners get to go about their business, in the larger verse, without the irritation of being interdicted while trying to do their business. Every body wins!!!

one problem: at present there are no planetary landings allowed in the game, we wont see this for a year or more until we get the expansion for it.

well not long ago Mr Braben gave a talk about how procedurally generated stuff was like art that has not yet received the love of an artist yet and they are very tight lipped about THE REVEAL that's coming
I THINK THERE IS REASON TO BE MEGA HYPED!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND PREPARE TO BE AMAzED by what will come
right?
not planetary landings by us but surely planetary factories and traffic, who knows, space elevators the whole shebang!
