Missions that make you scratch your head.

Probably ends up as this stuff, Acqua di Cristallo “Tributo a Modigliani”, real world value $60,000

So...let me get this straight. You want...ten units of water, which would cost AT MOST 370 credits sourced from a regular trader. And you'll give me three units of plantinum, worth AT LEAST 55,209 credits?

Seems fishy...wait! Don't tell me...you need to deposit the platinum in a luggage locker in the passenger lounge, and the key will be sent to a separate drop, and I'm supposed to give back one of the units of platinum and can keep the rest? [where is it]

(So help me, if Frontier does that as a chain-mission hook... [woah] )

What strange missions have YOU seen (not necessarily accepted)?

My personal dumbest mission is the assasinations ones which deliver you to system a and then take you to system b for a rubbish info contact and return you straight back to system a once again for the mission. BORING.

I find the sheer quantity of some missions to be baffling... why the relentless poo ferrying? where is it even coming from in such vast quantities? and so forth...

Edit: that's not to say I haven't hauled a fair bit of poo in my time, and had fun doing it usually :D

That's also the face you make when you see the price tag?

I was just asked to hunt down and kill Jerry Garcia. I felt really bad about that, but upon further reflection I realized he'd probably be Grateful, and after all, he's said time and again that he will survive.

Funny is this:

Deliver 132 units of Product X (fill in your least favorite product) for 132,000 Cr

Or

Deliver 8 units of same product to same station for 487K Cr

Same faction. Same mission board sequence.

Obviously it doesn't have to be "or", it can be "and" but if you're maxmizing your Cr/ton, you're going with the 8 units for about 50K per unit until you get close to the 20 mission limit. When time is pressing, you're starting to negotiate a bit and settle for 20K per ton or as little as 5K sometimes.
