Welcome to my sandbox zoo where I have experimented with mixing different species of canine together in one habitat. The first habitat contains 2 red foxes and 2 timber wolves, one male and one female of each species. The only animal setting turned off was predation. They seem to get along well. Even when I had predation turned on, every time I went to check when I got a notification that predation was occurring, the wolves and foxes were totally ignoring each other so they seemed to be ok being mixed together. I do have animal attacks, fights, and injuries still currently enabled and the wolves have not gone after the foxes. The only thing turning predation off did was stop the notifications as I never saw the wolves actually attacking the foxes. They are in a huge habitat, so avoid each other a lot but even when they get right next to each other, nothing has happened. The only other sandbox setting I changed was turning off guests fleeing because I wanted the guests to go through my wolf and fox habitat and with guest fleeing on, they ran away and refused to enter the habitat as soon as they saw the wolves. Also, disclaimer that the habitat is a blueprint I downloaded from the Steam Workshop called "Timber Wolf Habitat" by WaveDood, except I removed all the coolers because I didn' t want the habitat to have snow. I'm too lazy to make my own habitats. I like to edit ones from the Workshop. I did design the walkthrough path and remove the coolers from the habitat myself though.
