Mobile Snack Carts

I don't think I'm the first person to have this idea, so I won't take credit for it. Anyway, how would you all feel about a new feature that has vendors push around carts that sell snacks, such as popcorn, ice cream, big pretzels, cotton candy, and so on? I figured that in order to access them, you'd either have to buy them from one of the preexisting staff buildings or create a new one altogether, a sort of cart containment building. What do you all think?

I like the idea but staff actually pushing around carts seems a bit odd if not moving to another area to sell. The idea of a small snack cart that are placed on path junctions or plazas would be a really neat feature. Although thinking about it, staff could purchase snacks from a staff room and then push the cart to a random marker you could set in a menu and sell snacks until they run out and return to the staff room for more

Snack carts that I'm thinking of for reference:

Yeah, I meant that they wouldn't be stationary. They would move from location to location throughout the zoo.

These aren't bad ideas, but (and this is just my own view) I feel like the counters were Frontier's attempt at giving us non-mobile vendor stands.

The counters are pretty versatile with me usually using them for indoor cafes but I have made food trailers and small food shacks. One could easily go on the smaller end and try make a food stand , I have tried the sizing for it and it would work but have not got around to the task yet

We soooo need this too. Increase revenue and more realistic.
Yeah, and it could be useful if you could place them in an area where the people see hungriest at a given point in time. I find this tends to shift unpredictably in larger zoos.

The difference between the carts and the lunch counters is that the food carts, when they exist, are often one item only. Maybe popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream bars etc. Of course, the fast food places in the game are kind of like that already, since each one specializes in a particular type of food or beverage. Maybe this is how zoos in other parts of the world are, but in US zoos and amusement parks, most of the snack bars will sell a mix of foods and drinks, and you don't have to go stand in a separate line for drinks, fries, dessert after you get your burger, pizza or whatever.

Next up, porta potties*

*Just kidding. Those aren't at all nice.
