Mobile Version of ED

Ha, gotcha! Don't read only the title and start posting angry replies!

Right now I do wish there was a mobile version of ED, in some form or another. The closest option is reading GalNET news.

We are having a serious blizzard where I live, it started late in the morning so I was able to get to work. Now I am stuck here until probably tomorrow, too far to go under seriously poor driving conditions. So, while I have some work to do, I have all night to do it. Looks like I'll be stalking the forums for awhile. It won't be too bad here though, I work for a satellite uplink company, lots of choices if I want to watch something.

Buy a PS4 and then you can play ED on your iPhone and iPad :D

Didn't know the PS4 could do that but I'd probably get in trouble playing it over the company WiFi. LTE is a bit spotty so I doubt that would work.

The Xbox has something similar with Windows 10 game streaming but it only works on your home network.

I actually found something close to Elite on mobiles. It's called Alite (yeah, i know). But i tried it once when i was very very bored. The steering us a pain in the ...

What was the question anyway?

Steamlink? (If you have ED on steam) - https://store.steampowered.com/steamlink/about

Actually just read a bit more, it's local network. But I'm sure I read about another one once, I will search, found one below.

NVidia Gamestream and Moonlight - https://www.pcworld.com/article/3198089/how-to-stream-pc-games-anywhere.html?page=2

So no specific app needed, you could have the full game running on your mobile. So good luck reading the text :)

Needs setting up so no good right now for you, but it looks like it can be done.

Ah man sorry to hear that!! Hope no one got hurt and that your stuff didn't get damaged.

You can get a Linx Vision 8 (see pic) and stream Elite to it over a VPN anywhere in the world. You can also stream to the sofa so you can play Elite with your feet on the dog
