Lurking in the Elite Dangerous Reddit is enough to see that the interest of some people is limited to trolling and attention seeking.
That's unfortunately a plague in most of Online games.
I've only sort of scanned through but Frontier really do seem to have upset the applecart. I like the choice they have provided by adding different game modes. That is one of the reasons I've spent so much money on ED.
I used to play Eve Online but I had enough of it and particularly having to pay every month to be restricted in what I could do because it was/is dominated by PVP. It is player groups and alliances that shaped that game into something I got fed off with.
Elite is mine and many others dream game. Eve was fun too, until it got ruined by the same people that will and are trying to change this game.

It could be related to the recent Microsoft announcement of future cross-network support for XBox, and PG coming soon™ to ED players on this platform.
But that is just a guess, better to wait for OP clarification or PM him.

yeah always the same group of people, the same people that think Elite is their game and should be played their way.
they all hate me with a passion, im so far under their skin that they constantly have to reference old posts and even link to them like they have them saved into their favorites.
im so far under their skin that they have to jump onto reddit to satisfy that itch, I don't have much contact with them here because they are all on my block list so unless someone quotes them I don't even know they still exist.

thanks buddy, im sure yours will be much smoother, Code and SDC do like to hijack anything that references the Mobius group.
it doesn't bother me because I get so much enjoyment knowing that I bother them so much more, they all know my name but Im unable to remember any of theirs correctly.

To be fair Mobius (and we have chatted verbally over teamspeak a few times) you portray yourself as a nice chap.. up to the point you think think they're not watching. Did you really think that you could slag people off within your private coven and word wouldn't get out, and these people wouldn't run you down?

Wow, that was...well I suppose it's exactly what I expected from certain individuals, though at the same time. What's the point? Who cares? Do they really genuinely believe a group like Mobius is "ruining" open? All I can say is, when I first started playing elite my first desire was to start a group that hundreds or thousands of commanders could join where they didn't have to worry about non-consensual PvP or other undesirable interaction, then I found Mobius already rolling, so thanks for that Mobius. I find the group motto incredibly elegant: "don't spoil another player's game".

I think they genuinely believe that when one chap throws faeces at them, they have the right to throw it back, regardless of community celebrity status.
I know I do, and I'm not a member of either group.
I know they like to screenshot everything I say about them be that from facebook these forums or the triple elite group chat. it doesn't bother me in the slightest as when they feel the need to bring up old news they have already lost the argument.
Oh please, it's an internet forum, it's 99% crap getting thrown one direction or another. There is a difference of disagreeing and slinging some mud on a shared forum and going to a specific AMA to hijack it by bringing up a bunch of dirty laundry.

If it doesn't bother you, don't get involved in these conversations, or paint yourself like a victim. It will cast anything you say in a hypocritical light, particularly from an outsider perspective.
Particularly when you post comments elsewhere that makespecially this debacle look very "Six of one, half a dozen of the other."
