Hello!
Are there or will be in the future any modding tools for Planet Zoo? For example, to change some textures or models.

Hi Halk, maybe you know me from WoG -> Fisk2033?

They said there is nothing planned in the moment.
And tbh it's a shame.. It was never easier to support mods and they also integrated steam workshop... so its cause of the dlcs -> money. At one point I can understand it on the other point it's a dealbreaker to stay on / go back to Zoo Tycoon 2. But thats only my opinion.

Maybe, but then there's also the franchise mode which is technically online and modding in animals and such would break the whole idea behind franchise.

There is a high possibility for the ThemeMaker Toolkit that Planco has will make it's entry into Planet Zoo as well.
You can make custom scenery with it, but that's it.

Other than that, don't expect Frontier to provide the tools.

At the moment we've not got plans to bring modding to Planet Zoo; we're focusing on the game and the community right now. If anything ever changes we will be sure to let everyone know. Thanks!
