Last night I made a Cobra MkIII based on the original Elite model. It still needs some post-production work but I like it.

quick question, is there a blueprint for the Cobra MkIII. I haven't seen one but there must be.

There are loads of blueprints out there for the Cobra 3, but no "official" ones that I am aware of. I have a (slightly corrupted) copy of George Hooper's excellent blueprints here, and Jon Bluestone drew some fantastic blueprints, but they keep moving around.
I suppose my "plans" for the paper model pledge reward would probably count as a blueprint, as it shows a concept of the interior layout of the Cobra.

I'd love Airfix to pick up on the Elite ships, I'd get them..... ALL
It's 3D-printed on a PrintrbotJr and is made from extruded PLA plastic.
I still have to experiment with some finishing techniques and I may try upgrading the hot end to a smaller diameter nozzle, which should give a better quality finish straight off the printer.
In the meantime, blueprints of any Elite ships old or new would be very welcome - thanks for the drawing you found, Bruce
