Thanks Brett C. It was sorted soon after once someone initiated Moobot.
As for the other comments about not reading chat etc... that's fine if people wish to avoid chat, however others do partake in the chat even if it is a flurry of messages in busy channels. To say to just ignore it was not getting to the crux of the problem which was lack of moderation. Once that kicked in then it was better.
Generally it comes down to choices and the fact the channel was not moderated enough.
It's come and gone, just need to learn from it for next time instead of burying your head (turning it off) and ignoring what can be a good thing if correctly done.

I'm often on Neon and Fiery's Twitch streams and the Chat crowd is great.
This is why we can't have all system chat in game.
