I haven't looked since 2.1 dropped but in Beta I got missions for them in and around Zeessze or Anlave. I'm fairly suspicious that material drops like them are somewhat regional. Once I see missions for an item there seems to be a good chance for USSes in and around that system to drop it as well.

I need them now to so will be heading to Anlave to poke around.

I have been all over the place, including Anlave and Zeessze but I cannot find them. This is ridiculous, I don't mind the grid on scanning and mining etc but the randomness of these mission drops is ridiculous and spoiling it for me.

I love how they are listed as ubiquitous in their item description, yet are only ever available as mission rewards.

I've had the most luck getting them from trading missions so far.

It took me about 10 hours to get 25 of them. Absolutely ridiculous grind.

The definition of a commodity is that it can be purchased. These things cannot be purchased anywhere and are just some gamey mission reward nonsense. I would stress that FD rethink locking these "commodities" into the mission system.

I almost had 30 of them, then my Cutter decided it wasn't going to decelerate on a routine cargo mission and blew up on a planet. Now I have to grind them out all over again.

I've gotten two missions so far that rewarded them.. There are other bits I need that I'm having no luck with though :/

RNG.. Still, rome wasn't built in a day. ;)

That's just sickening really. Not sure I could just accept that. I'd have to leave the game for a while after that kind of a loss.

It took me around 200 relogs on the mission board, no exaggeration... utterly demoralising.
