Here is something I would like to see someday.
Some military ships have a short FSD jump capability. But there are some times (waaaaar) when fast deployment and force projection can be desirable.
This module allows for long range FSD (over 100 LY or more) using "overcharged FSD cores" to power up the jump.
To activate a long range jump press 4 > activate long range module.
Then select destination and jump as you usually do. (charging take more time than normal jumps).
Once at destination, the core is automatically discarded (and it will look suspiciously like a container for now) and FSD cooldown will take much longer than for a normal FSD.
To go back, repeat the same process.
Core can be bought like ammo.
Class defines how many cores you can have (max 6).
Rating defines how far you can jump and how long it takes to cooldown.
