The effectiveness of MRPs is a current hot topic with the shield booster nerf incoming, and how the hardness buff for the big three does absolutely nothing to protect modules, which are already the first thing to go in any protracted combat against someone who knows what they're doing.
My suggestion is to remove MRP integrity entirely. Rather than adding a pool of extra integrity that's quickly depleted having MRPs should redirect a percentage of module damage back to the hull (or increase the amount of damage that's soaked by the hull before it pierces to the modules if you prefer to look at it that way). As long as you have hull left and MRPs in place your modules would benefit from some added level of protection.
