Horizons Module storage - safe to do so?

Think I read somewhere it was a bit buggy? I'd like to store the Bubblegum shield on my Python so I can strip it and sell it to A grade my Cutter. As I don't do PP atm I'd like to keep the shield for a rainy day...safe to store?

I have not discovered any ill effects, yet. I store my modules all the time, or send them from one system to another. Works well. Especially when you have a modified module which you share between ships, like I do with a FSD between my ASP and my Python.

I have used module storage and transfer a lot with no issues.

The 'bug' that surfaced when it was released was that if you transferred a module that is supposed to be unique (such as a shield generator, as a ship can have only one) but your ship had an existing one in a different slot, then it corrupted your save. I believe that is now fixed, and you cannot perform such a transfer, but just be aware of it anyway and you should have no issues.

Do not replace/store the core modules. There is still a bug where you can not switch back. So happened to my ASP. Read in the bug reports section about it. :O

I have had no issues with this at all. I have swapped engineered power-plants and FSDs between ships using the storage with no problems whatsoever.

Same goes for the other modules, lots of swapping around, no issues. {touch wood}
