Module storage ships costs

Hi everyone.

Now with PP modules needing to be stored (if you are like me, just playing PP for the modules) I made a small comparision to find the cheapest available storage for each size of weapon and internal class (for the Prismatic shields).

Cheapest Small HP: Eagle
Cheapest Medium HP: Viper
Cheapest Large HP: Diamondback Explorer
Cheapest Huge HP: Fer-de-Lance (I know, you don't need this right now).

Cheapest Class 8: Type-9
Cheapest Class 7: Imperial Clipper
Cheapest Class 6: Asp
Cheapest Class 5: Type-6
Cheapest Class 4: Cobra
Cheapest Class 3: Eagle

So I plan to get a bunch of Vipers (cheapest medium HP) to store a stock of Imperial Hammers now.

Can I just get a clarification?

You are in your ship that you want a PP weapon on. You go to your stored viper with said PP weapon, swap ships, sell the PP weapon and then swap back into the first ship. The PP weapon is then available to buy back even without requisite rank? Has this been tried and tested?

Well I guess has going to be the first to test it, but it would be next level stupid if he can't even buy them back. lol

lol.
I'm 2 days away from getting the Hammer and was just thinking which ship to use for storage.

Worked for me with the shields.

Heh, this is possibly one of the stupidest things I've seen in gaming to date. (Not the OP, but what he's having to do)

Heh, it feels a bit stupid, but I really would like to keep a stock of some of these PP modules around. Since powers will be removed from the game at some point some of these modules will disappear. Also I don't want to re-pledge to a power in a few months since I didn't get enough modules the first time.

Sorry... but I can't believe you are doing PP just for the weapons ! Lolololololol

Yup...regardless of faction they are all sociopathic murderous fanatics who wants us to KILL THE UNBELIEVERS of other factions (why else would they reward the most Merits on that task, a task that does nothing to help the actual expansion and security of said faction).

And there are people who think PP is GOOD?

Explain to me why the leader of the Federation, Zachary Hudson tells his followers to go into other systems not even in his own federal jurisdiction and assassinate people who are no threat to the Federation at all?

Why does he feel the need to assassinate Li Yong-Rui travelling salesmen? Did he not get the discount he wanted?

It's like having Obama dronestrike Ikea Employees or the British labour party travelling to the us to assassinat apple employees.

PP is a fine idea but horribly implemented and no faction actually FOLLOWS their own ethos and philosophy.

So yea, the only reason to even participate is to get the modules you find useless and leave untill they make the PP gameplay in ANY way logical and meshes well with the rest of the game.

does this work with other, regular, modules?

if you sell at a station they become available? just to you, or anyone else in the same instance

if so - i can imagine there would be a demand for deliveries. C3 gimballed beams, A5 shields etc. - Fuel Rat style...

Sidewinders as bookmarks, Vipers as weapon storages! How long will CMDRs have to earn their living for with such escamotage to have such obvious features?

What you sell is available for you only to rebuy at the same price for 10 minutes. You only. It is essentially the same as moving a module from one ship to the other.
