Module Swaping at engineers?

I guess it would work much like the current system. When you sell a module it is available to buy back until you leave the station or log out. I really wish the there was some module storage function, would make it easier to swap out modes for some of my ships, like my Python, it gets used as a battle ship with shields, a SCB, hull reinforcement etc, but I also use it for some trade missions as well. Would be nice if I could store my unused modules rather than having to sell them as my home port doesn't sell all of them or at a high enough class.
I think the sell and rebuy option will work like it did.
It works for faction-specific modules, now and I see no reason for Frontier to change it.

I don't think it currently works like that does it?
Isn't there some timeout which just so happens to be shorter than the length of time it takes to swap ships.
So get in a ship, sell module, switch ships that module is no longer available.
Maybe it's not like that any more? I seem to remember that switch to the above way happened around 1.4 or something.
I agree if no way to swap it's going to be a bit frustrating.

No, the modules you sold are available for rebuy for at least 20 minutes, even if you changed ships. (I wasn't willing to wait for so long to find out the time limit)
Even if you take off, leave the station and come back, the modules are still there. You have to either supercruise out or wait for a REALLY long time to lose the rebuy option.
