Newcomer / Intro Module type limit exceeded....

Help....whats happened ??, i cant buy any shield cells ....I sold shield cells to buy cargo space.... now i want to sell cargo space and buy back fuel cells ... but they are all red with the above message...... ive saved and restarted... now there are no shield cells available,,,none listed to buy.... Im in a high tec system.,,,no idea whats going on...

Module type exceeded means you are trying to equip more than one of a type of module that you can only have one of. I would imagine that you started off trying to put a second shield generator on board, confusing it for shield cells. Try another system if this one does not stock what you are after, look for wealth and large population systems as well as high-tech ones.
