Money making in Colonia?

I know there’s been a lot of discussion lately in this thread about Colonia, but my question is specifically are there good ways to make money out there aside from exploring? I’m just curious if the missions out there tend to yield any higher payout or if commodities tend to sell for higher rates, are there good trade routes etc. I’m not going out there just to make money, I’m going just to go check it out, just curious if I’ll be able to make some good Cr while I’m at it, or if it’s about the same as in the bubble. Thank you for any info or opinions.

Hi CMDR,I'm making approximately 40 mill an hr doing bulk passenger missions and sometimes 70million doing the mission board in some systems depending on their state.

There are plenty of haz res/cz and BGS.
Obviously loads to explore and pristine sights to mine at.

I've also found great canyons to fly through ,great mountains to srv race and a mega ship to bounty hunt at.
Hope this helps -)
P.s my earnings are based on allied reputation.

I spent a year out there, and watched the region grow. When I left last summer I was making very good money on passenger missions. It's not difficult to establish a route of your own, making a circle route between 3 or 4 stations. I'm planning on heading back there next week, just to see some old friends in the bar at Jaques Station.

You can stack the passenger missions to the 3 tourist beacons at Jacques and rinse, repeat, boring but effective. Colonia is best as a base for exploring tho. You can make fair trade income with a python hauling metals around. Might change in 3.0 anyway.
