Just wondering, and I apologize if this has been brought up before, but how many would be willing to pay a small monthly fee ($2-4/mth) if it meant they could improve the game by hiring additional staff? I would do it in a heartbeat if it meant they could finally fix the numerous bugs and other issues while continuing to work on content. This is not a game that has a story line with a beginning and an ending for you to finish and those types of games do not need to evolve or require maintenance. This game needs ongoing, continuous development, maintenance and attention to work and to solely rely on selling the software to new people, or people buying cosmetics, it is simply the wrong business model. I cannot imagine running a business that relies solely on new purchasers or trinkets to maintain cash flow. Part of the issue with all of the cosmetics is that, if that is your income stream, you will begin to focus your efforts on that and other things (bugs, content, issues, etc.) get pushed a rung down the ladder of importance. That is not a survivable model.
I know this probably is not a popular position, but I suggest they change it to a monthly fee to improve the game and allow it to continue. Maybe allow people 6 months free if they are buying the game, but after that the fee would kick in.
