Monthly Profit?

How do you increase the monthly profit from going down for the staff wages? Everything I try doesn't work, I can't complete anything in career mode, I'm up to Pirates Cove, but I can't do anything, i have funds [sad] I have so many rides, shops, scenery in my park but still not making any profit, what am I doing wrong? [downcast]

To many shops, rides and scenery, and to few guests?

Close the shops and rides that don't make profit, fire staff you don't need, and then make sure to steadily build up your park so you stay in the green.

Maybe sell some scenery to go back into the green.

I don't add staff or shops until I never have to worry about losing money. I do rides only for a while. i wait until I have a very healthy bank account and at least 800 guests. And then I add 1 drink and 1 food shop. I keep their salary at 200 to keep them from leaving. I add a couple of flat rides. You can filter them so you can buy the cheapest one. Don't worry about staff. If the paths aren't full of litter you don't need janitors. With no shops you don't need vendors. All those salary's will drain you. You can avoid the cost of a mechanic by renaming a ride Frontier so rides don't break down. I Let the rides bring in the money. With that scenario you may want to pause the game so the monthly running costs of the existing rides don't take your money before you have a chance to place some of your own.

Good luck!
