More asteroids?

Is it just me, but I've noticed that there more asteroids in belt clusters now than there used to be. Now there about 10 per cluster where before there were about 5.

Also, I can't work out how long it takes before you can go back to a previously depleted cluster. Does anyone know?

Who knows but the whole asteroid/ring system field is a fudge anyway and in no way represents reality.

The various bits that make up an asteroid field or rings system, in reality, may look very close together from a large distance but they are actually very far apart. So much so that you'd be struggling to see more than a couple anywhere near you. Of course that makes for dull game play so FD cheat a little by making them swarm in the game.

I thought the number of asteroids in belt clusters was connected to the number of clusters in the belt, the orbit distance and the mass of the belt

No idea on the respawn

Is it leaving the system?

That daily tick of the BGS?

I haven't visited an asteroid belt since gamma (I always go to ring systems instead). But back in gamma there were way more than 5 rocks per cluster...

You can then find out if the graphic quality has been degraded!

I will go have a look. Although I suspect they look very similar to before. Those places always looked pretty good because they were right next to the star.
