More/better System info?

Yes, another noob question.

Is there a plan to provide more detailed system info in the Nav screem/map? What is provided there now seems pretty rudimentary and more info about the systems resources, stations, etc. would be pretty helpful, at least for non-remote systems.

Seems like the folks in that system would want some info/advertising available and it would help with planning and reduce wasted trips.

Its not easy when starting , to use the galactic map, but do spend some time with it and it will start to make sense.
another option is to use a third part tool , to earn you some credits, have a look on the excellent market tool don by Cmdr Slopey

There will be TONS of info as soon as the map is connected to the background sim and gameworld info.

Here is another peek at some concept art how the system view might look like:

When that is introduced you will be able to zoom "Seamless from entire galaxy down to stations".

I usually like to build my own spreadsheets when it comes to trading. Is there a way to export market data? That would be handy.

I was just interested in more detailed overview info, but it looks like it's already planned. Good to know.
