Before the suggestions, I gotta say the control options this game have are really fantastic. And even moreso that on the PS4, that number of options is there. I've seen other games where all they provide is 'controller layout A' and 'controller layout B' or classic, or whatever. And the ability to use multiple buttons works so great with all the functions available. I can set everything specifically on my ps4 controller, no problems. The setup screen itself I can go through the whole thing in just over a minute, so for me it's great.
1. For the various UI panels [Target, Comms, System, etc] you have the options of 'does nothing' and 'focuses the panel'. What I'd like is if there was one more toggle/hold which would switch that choice.
Most of the time, I'd like when I look in the direction of each panel, it'd show up. But when exploring or something catches my eye, I'd like being able to toggle that off instead of having to go into settings, switch it...look at the view or take a screeny, then do back into settings, etc.
2. This is for the toggle/hold options there are. As in #1, most of the time I'm fine using the hold or toggle for whatever I have them set to. But every so often, I would like another button which would do the alternative. For example, when using my ps4 controller, I have my yaw axis switched to roll by 'hold'ing down x while I roll, then release it's back to yaw. But I'd like if I could click Y, it would toggle the yaw to be roll and then if I hold X again, it'd be yaw till I release.
So...not many more buttons, but just a couple that'd stop the need to hit escape, go into settings, make the changes, then back...then having to repeat that to make the changes back.
