More continual crashes

I logged on Saturday and Sunday to fill up my weekly free Arx, and managed to play some conflict zones, all with no problems. Today, I try to play, and my game is crashing every few minutes. Sometimes I can't even get into the game before it CTD. So, I've come to the forums to see if anyone else is experiencing them, only to find out that the game crashing was a known issue since the Thursday server tick. I say 'was' because it's supposed to have been all fixed, but I seem to be having them now, after the fix, but didn't get them before the fix.

Now, I was able to play for a while this evening, enough to pick up four on foot missions, and it was soon after I left the station that my crashing started. I've been sending the crash reports, but to be honest, I'm getting fed up sending them every five minutes now.

Is this still happening for others, or am I just the only unlucky one? And is it likely that this is being caused by the same (or similar) missions problems from the weekend?

it might be a heat issue on your card? I used to get that sometimes and clearing the dust out of the box did wonders ;) also updating graphics drivers can help.

does it give any error message?

Had an accident at work, and injured my wrist, so can't bloody play now. 🤦‍♂️ 🤕

GPU driver is up to date as had to do that to play Baldur's Gate 3. No error messages, it was just straight CTD and then the crash reporter. Heat may have been one of the reasons. While my PC case has slight positive pressure from the fans, it has been a while since last gave it a clean out. Although there is practically no dust in it, it was a hot day. The other thing that I thought about (stupidly, only after I'd given up for the day) was that I didn't try a reboot after the first crash. It's possible that something went wrong with Windows that was causing it, not enough to affect Windows in general, but enough to mess with Elite.

When my injury is healed enough to play again, I'll see what happens.

Same here. Played about 8 hours total yesterday and had four CTDs. First of those in a very long time. Currently doing deep space exploration and exobiology, so no missions, etc. one crash was exiting my SRV, don’t remember the specifics of the others.

Same here on a bad week that would happen twice but I haven’t had a CTD for a while now, still playing every day and still flying low over planets several times per day.
